The tour begins at the recent extension project by Stephen De Jersey – the “Bath House” – a smart extension project that has transformed an existing Queenslander. This is followed by the 2016 NQ Region House of the Year, “Laneway House” in South Townsville by 9point9 @9point9 Architects; a contemporary inner city courtyard house (pictured). The next stop is a recently completed split level house at the base of Castle Hill by Outcrop Architecture opening out to beautiful Cleveland Bay views. The tour finishes with a drive out along the beach of Pallarenda to Peter Scott’s residence – a pavilion style home that has grown and adapted over the years and has a story to tell . . .
